Public Notice: Oswego County Workforce Development Local Plan Program Year 2021-2023
Oswego County Workforce Development Board will be submitting updates to its Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Local Plan to the New York State Department of Labor on June 30, 2021. The plan encompasses workforce activities under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. The plan is developed by the Local Workforce Development Board, approved by the Local Chief Elected Official, and will become the basis for local area policy and monitoring.
A copy of the plan will be on file for public comment for a 10-day public comment period beginning on June 16, 2021. The Local Plan will be on file at the Workforce Development Board office at the SUNY Oswego Office of Business and Community Relations, Business Resource Center, 121 East First Street, Oswego, NY 13126; and at the Oswego County Workforce New York One-Stop Center, 200 North Second Street, Fulton, NY 13069. Comments on the plan and requests for a hard copy may be submitted to Chelsea Ginett, Secretary, via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org or at the Oswego County Workforce Development Board office at 121 East First Street, Oswego, NY 13126. Comments or suggested changes to the local plan will be accepted through June 25, 2021.
